As above how do old greenstar receivers mount to JD cabs? Underneath the front edge somehow? Just wondered if it’s worth buying an old shroud to bodge my Ag 15 receiver I rather than sticking it up on the cab roof?

Is that an Ag 15 antenna (from Trimble)? Would sit much lower than the JD antenna? Of course you can put something between the base and the antenna to make it see all satellites in all directions.

We have a metal plate for a magnet on our JD roof. Installed by the shop mechanic. I understand your interest to avoid that roof top installation.

As @KB6930 says it bolts to the underside of the green roof top, however you’ll probably need the metal inserts to screw into the composite for the bolts to locate.
You will also need to cut a 10mm strip out along the front edge of the roof (green part) to allow the bracket to sit flush.
