Registrations for Dairy-Tech Online have rocketed reaching almost 2,500, with one week still left to sign-up for the free fortnight-long event.
Capacity on Zoom has been increased for each of the sessions due to the number of registrations, with delegates urged to secure their place by signing up.
The online event, which is replacing the usual face to face Dairy-Tech at Stoneleigh Park, is running from Wednesday 3rd February to 17th February and is made up of aseries of online workshops, demonstrations, webinars, conferences, new product briefings and debates.
Kicking off the event is the Dairy Hub Conference, which features Farming Minister Victoria Prentis, AHDB Chair Nicholas Saphir and Gavin Ross, Head of ELMS at Defra to name a few. Delegates tuning in will have the opportunity to put forward their questions live to the speakers.
International speakers will feature throughout the fortnight and together with experts from the UK will showcase content relevant for all farming systems. This will include the latest dairy innovations, timely policy updates as well as practical workshops.
Commenting on the event, RABDF’s Managing Director Matt Knight said: “Ticket registrations are flying, so much so we have increased our capacity on Zoom to accommodate more delegates.
“There has been so much going on in the industry with Brexit, the Agriculture Bill and Coronavirus there is no better place for people to be kept informed than by tuning in to the sessions.
“But the event isn’t just about policy, markets and upcoming changes, it is also about practical things farmers can do to improve the health and welfare of their herd; their own personal health, grazing management as well as being kept informed of the latest innovations. It is designed to be fun and informative with our sessions featuring international speakers proving to be a big hit,” he said.
