Can a 6 meter grass harrow be mounted on front links and be used by pushing it along if the blue harrow part are turned the opposite way.

now i have front links wondered if i can harrow and roll in one pass as i have a 6 meter rolls.

understand that harrowing can be a fast job and rolling slow but thought if the tines are fairly aggressive then possible speed can be reduced to compensate the rolling.

Yes they can. A farm local to here mounted them on the front links and ran an aerator behind the tractor. They changed the design a little while back so that the harrow remained on the front linkage but faced in the same direction as it would if you were towing it by making up and extended push frame. Can't quite remember what the issue was but something seemed to fail regularly by just reversing the mats- pivot pins possibly?

I see on the Opico website it's has a conversion kit for front mounted (up to 6m) on the option list.

If things are likely to break/ bend / fail I'll stick to doing two operations.

Local puts slitter in front as can power down on front links. Makes steering challenging.
ive been harrowing today but bringing up to much wet so will roll tomorrow. When it gets drier I’ll tow the rolls behind seeder with straps from link arms. Only on level ground!

Very little ground is dry enough to roll at the minute , you could cause a lot of compaction by rolling too early.
