Hi all,
I’m looking for some part time farm/harvest work if at all possible. I’ll be honest and admit that I’m very green to arable farm work, but would love the experience - Grain Carting or anything really.
I’ve driven New Holland T5 and T7 tractors as well as a John Deere 6155r along with a 30m sprayer. I also hold a Class 2 HGV Licence plus ADR (inc. Tanks) as I used to drive fuel bowsers to refuel aircraft.
Although as mentioned my arable experience is limited, I have worked on a farm as a milker of 220 cows.
I currently live on the Oxfordshire / Buckinghamshire border (6 miles from Oxford), but am frequently back “home” in the Midlands around Tamworth so either place would be great.
I appreciate it’s probably a long-shot, but I would love to get involved. Long hours don’t bother me nor working through the night.
I currently work 08:00-17:00 Mon-Fri but am willing to book annual leave if needed for harvest work.
