Texas is an 18-month-old son of Baltra Iceman and from a very milky home bread dam out of a Landais sired cow.
Texas hit the ground running as a calf and has never looked back.
Very long and deep with a full loin – excellent engine for turning forage to beef.
Very easily fleshed off forage, virtually no meal in him ‘till February – now on 4Kg a day.
Fantastic temperament, exhibited by first timer in young handlers classes.
Junior bull class winner as a calf at Newry and Clogher Shows – his only summer show outings.
NI Blonde Cattle Club Calf Champion 2024 at Clogher Show.
Lovely coat of year-round hair.
Texas’s full brother was used as a stock sire on our own herd with impressive heifers now retained.
High Health Herd, Accredited Lepto free. VMF of BVD and IBR. Johnes Level 1 – Since 2014
Individually tested disease free. Vaccinated for BVD and IBR (marker).
Fertility tested – good to go.
PM for photos of him as a calf and all the way along.
Viewing welcome by appointment.
Happy to take home and test for export if costings agreed in advance of sale.
