Hi

I missed the pre em timing 2 weeks ago due to dry soils at drilling.Seriously dry area where it’s only just had some decent rain.
My wheat is now 1 leaf and through to peri emergence in variable soil types.

Is this timing now ( 5 mm rain last night) ok or would you leave another week ?

I do have black and ryegrass !!! Hence using this new product with partner piclomax.

Thoughts ?

cheers

I would get it on as soon as you can if you are serious about blackgrass control.
It might already be too late.
Yes I know 😬

it has been so dry here, made nice seed beds and just waited for that bit of moisture

may have missed bits I’m sure but putting it on now to moisture will surely be better than in the dry and should help with most ?

I’m sure it will be fine; some of my best blackgrass controls have come from peri-emergence applications. Can’t comment on luximo specifically though (or it’s various partners) on crop safety but I’d certainly risk it.
