Sorry I missed your tag yesterday ..............
Around 300 PSI would be adequate

Cylinder leakage test always done on TDC with valves closed.
Lock the crankshaft (in gear brakes on) and listed for leak.
No need for fancy setup, just tight good sealing joints (not finger tight).

If you set the timing marks right then it shouldn't be far out. I will post a picture of the tool used for scribing an accurate mark on the pump and timing case when no1 piston is at tdc compression stroke. This is marked on the rear of the flywheel and a pointer is visible thro the bung on the lh rear of the block.

Im going through this exercise at the minute. I have found the mark on the flywheel through the viewing window.

Quick Clarificaiton: what do I align this flywheel mark against or do I simply centralize it in the middle of the viewing window.

There should be a pointer in the block to line it up with but centre of the hole is usually right

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
