Plastic Cubicles

We've had easyfixes in for dry cows now for 4 years and very pleased. Wouldn't want them in with heifers though or I'd be tortured with them turning and dunging at the front of the cubicle. Thought Wilson agri's flexi cubicles looked a good job. Anyone any experience?

Thank you for your answer! Have never heard from Wilson's cubicles though.
Do you suggest I choose the flexible cubicles instead of the iron ones?

Up to you really. I think the flexi ones are comfier and better for cow welfare than steel. Personally I would want some sort of flex for adult cattle, but our milking house has 20 year old steels in and it's a big bill to replace them.

Thank you very much. I am considering my options and I think I will choose the flexible ones.
However, doing some research on the Agriprom cubicles I came across the green cubicles I mentioned earlier. They are called cow welfare, has anyone heard of them?

Just over a year ago we put in 60 Mayo ones with mats and the cows love them, first to be used.
We replaced some aging IAE head to heads with Mayo plastic ones 18 months ago and very very pleased .
Used the existing cross rails and posts to fix the cubicle hoops to ,so as to save a load of time ,all done in a day !

The cranked head rails are brilliant ,the cows seem so much easier to lie in , and stand in

I havent used the mayo ones but i seen a shed done.Where the plastic meets the steel wasnt tight fit and alot of play i thought it might give trouble in future

Finishing touches to condon engineering kitted shed
Very much the same as Mayo ones I think -like the red but as a Wrexham season ticket holder ,thats not suprising!! Tidy job
We went for blue to keep the peace here ! !
Myself, I am not really that bothered now by a bit of flex or wobble where they join the steel , I would have thought there is no point in making the bolts too tight either but I suppose on assembly they want something that is an easy slip in fit and not trying to persuade them to fit on the steel ! As I said above ,not seen any problems with ours ,and they are a tad sloppy fit

I think they should have made the bottom the same as the top and not have bottom plastic hoop going all the way into cubicle rail it wud be a sturdier job i hope they last well forbu guys il wait a few years before i replace my steel ones as i think the mayo cubicle is a super job but was wary of easyfix when they came out and was proved right time will tell.

Our IAE ones seemed to crack off at the bottom , but were 20 yrs old to be fair ! We had some spare new IAE hoops which we replaced some after they failed but it was a nightmare once they started to go . Difficult to weld ,as loads of galv on there too
I put that down to the resonation of the cubicle as a cow got up especially but also when sat down , but it was common to hear them vibrate ,and they just dont give like plastic .

But I can see your reluctance - I have no experience of Easyfix by the way ,but neighbour has a load
