Pot Holes, Tyres & Pressures?

Like a lot of places the roads around here are atrocious, can't go anywhere in a straight line avoiding the holes. My Shogun was on low profile tyres, which made it very solid on bumps. So I got the chance of a set of deeper tyres and rims which have greatly improved the ride. Current pressure is 40 psi, but how low could this go to further improve ride without wrecking the tyres?

Assuming that you have a tyre size that was an original fitment I'd look in the instruction book or label on the door slam area.

3 bar is on the door for trailer work with 2.3 for other driving. With the low profiles on there was no flex in the walls, whereas the deeper walls give more when you hit a hole, so will try a bit lower pressure. just wondering about wear. Normally do a lot of trailer work, this is just for a bit of cruising now and again.

Yesterday was cruising along on is road in wet 60/70 kph
If the road is bad I would drop the pressure down to 20 psi.
