@Bobthebuilder has a sulky/sky. As do countless others . @Banana Bar give @Mark.MW a pm. He will do you a deal.
Sulky and Sky are all the same company owned by the Burel familyHad an amazone before the sulky I would say the sulky just edges it for going into less than favourable conditions both 4m rigid, not sure what changes have been made now sky has taken over sulky, also run a 4m horsch pronto, if looking for a new 6m I wouldn't look far past the horsch kr, there were rumours of a 4m folding kr a while ago but not sure how that's coming along
Yes expensive but to be fair they do last very well, and discs also last well and not horrendous priceZircon 12 harrow tines £27 each now too
Sulky/Sky is not making the power harrow it is a rebadged Frandent.Sulky and Sky are all the same company owned by the Burel family
Julien burel who owns sulky and sky bought the factory if frandaunt back in 2020. They had previously taken about 60-70% of their machines out of the factory prior to buying it .Sulky/Sky is not making the power harrow it is a rebadged Frandent.

HRW rotary harrows | SKY Agriculture
HRW rotary harrows are designed to work in combination. As a contractor and farmer specializing in field crops, you are as much an advocate of "wide width" as you are of reducing the number of passes: Then take a close look at the CULTILINE HRW range.sky-agriculture.com
They are like lemken where you have to use genuine metal as no spurious options, £22/tine last season for sulky phUsed a Sky powerharrow over the summer. An absolute tank of a thing. Very nicely thought out I felt. Don't know how the cost compares to Kuhn etc or what parts prices are like mind.

Never lost a tine yet in 3 seasonsWouldn't surprise me at all as you don't see many about. I wasn't particularly convinced with their method of retaining the tines to the holders, either but pins etc have been used for years.
They do.Yes expensive but to be fair they do last very well, and discs also last well and not horrendous price
Never lost a Lemken tine yet!!! Been through a few acres too , Amazon’s before never lost any tines either must be something wrong to lose tines I reckonThey do.
Getting 650 acres from a set on a 3m
Previous amazone‘s were around 350 acres.

Never lost one in 22 years of amazones & 7 with Lemken.

What sort of issues are the Alpego drills having? We're looking for a 6m combination/front tank set up at the minute to run alongside a Vaderstad and Claydon in place of a KV tine drill and I really like the look of an Alpego, mainly the simplicity of the single disc coulter design and how they are mounted (no complicated linkages or press wheels to cause issue on our heavy clay when it gets a bit sticky for the vad, we like to keep things simple!) I've spoke to several operators of the drills and power harrows, done a fair bit of research online and I think this comment is the first negative I've found so just interested to hear a bit more? Our agronomist put us in touch with a client of his who is running with 5000+ Ha on, we went to see him on Saturday and the drill/ power harrow was in very good order with apparently very few problems, and his crops looked bloody well!Alpego been a disaster up here. Know of 3 returned. Dealer given up franchise.
Horsch seem to be gaining ground. There kuhn power harrow
