Saying its undemocratic:

Anna Soubry-elected on a Tory ticket, changed Party-"no need for an election" she said

Liberal Democratics-Anti brexit despite the Referendum result and Parliament already having voted to leave on 31st Oct

Corbyn-last heard saying he should be PM without an election if Govt lost a No Confidence vote.

Ken Clarke-as per Corbyn

Scottish National Party-say's that Scotland should be treated differently despite Scottish Referendum voting to stay part of the Union

Some people have got a damn funny idea of democracy.

Over three years since UK voted to leave the EU and no further forward. In "so called" backward countries there have been riots when a democratic vote has been ignored

Which way will you vote in the next (early) independence vote?

Too early to tell. I don’t like division, and I’m struggling to see anything but a loss of our standard of living if we leave (which selfishly makes me want to stay). I’d also want a better understanding of what the mechanism would be for the split - one thing Brexit has taught us is that decisions like this should be made with a plan worked out and not just based on emotion.

I’d probably vote yes for an (independent) independence commission to be set up to work out the details of a future Scotland outside and within either or both unions and then take a worked up plan back to the electorate. What it said in terms of viability, hard borders, taxation, future economy etc would be very interesting. I wouldn't vote yes to a “wanna go or naw” question, followed by five years of chaos, economic downturn, a hard border wall and a replica Sangatte at Dumfries. I’d hope that there was a special place reserved for any person who would promote such a proposal, without a plan of how to implement it.

Fair enough; but that last bit... it wouldn't be a problem if the proposed time period for leaving were used well by politicians and civil servants to implement the will of the people, rather than doing their best to oppose the democratic instruction given.

I’d still want to know what I was voting for before I did. In project terms, you have gate 0, gate 1 etc, and don’t proceed unless you get a green light - one wouldn’t commit 100% to a major civils project on the basis of a single sketch, but would agree to developing the concept, then go back for approval to do a scheme, then detail and only at that stage would you give full build sanction.

Good question, or so it might seem at first; where is this high percentage you write of? Answer = from a poll... get a vote with a majority of the members stating that and you'll be on better ground. But the Conservative party is a party of democracy, if a majority of Scots wish to leave the UK what would you have them do, send in the Army?

There can't be a United Kingdom by duress; I find the idea of the Union losing Scotland very sad, it gives me a lump in my throat, my mother is an Edinburgh girl, I have many family and friends there, but if it is the will of the Scots to leave, leave they must.

And... the alternative inferred, by doing what 'Scotland'* wants for it to stay in the UK, well, that would be a tiny minority of the population dictating to the rest, holding us to ransom in fact. Which way will you vote in the next (early) independence vote?

*Of course, that really means a majority of the Scottish electorate.

Bet your balls on it? Ever been to NI? If you have, you didn't pay attention...

A poor analogy, because your 'bridge', or whatever, isn't dependent upon the good will or the honesty of the ground on one side (or both) of its span. Anyway, I did know what I was voting for, it was to leave the European Union. (y)

I see, well at least you've been honest; but it's rather a poor basis for an argument, because... you are basing your opinion on the assumption that some people you have no experience of are slightly more or less inclined to want something than some other people, of whom you have no experience... :scratchhead:
