Hi got a brand new Honda 420 at Christmas time , it’s done about 3000km and front tyres are scrubbed bare. It is doing a lot of road work but still need chunky tyre for field work. Any suggestions on a longer lasting tyre ?? It came with maxxis tyres. Thanks

We’re having the same problem, Honda foreman 500 is eating front tyres for fun! Before the Honda we had a Yamaha 450 grizzly, the tyres on that were better but I don’t know what make they were, it went missing at 6month old?. Does anyone know what there fitted with from new??

Don't ask me why but Honda 500 quads are set up from new toeing in. Honda rep told me if you are on the road a lot, adjust the track rods to straighten it up. Doubled the life of ours

Check the tracking, it might have not have been set right, when the bike was put together.

10'000 miles on maxxis bighorns with a big majority of that on tarmac.
Starting to perish and leak a bit air now but still the best tyres I've tried 0 punctures in that time as well

Bkt W207’s on all the hondas here, even from new and I was whinging they were only doing 11,000km per set.

on Anklas on the Yam now after going through a set of original Yam tyres in 5,000 mile. The Anklas are wearing very well with hardly worn after 4000+ mile.

Tarmac/concrete is VERY different to grass , just bear this in mind when making recommendations......( this is the voice of experience!) I`m watching this thread for that very reason!!
