Just come home from our local County conference where Minette spoke. Very impressed with her grasp of farming issues and her manner of delivery. Spoke with no notes and Held the audience for the best part of an hour . Question time should be worth watching,l

I hate comedians being on politics shows, sort of devalues it and they always try to be the people friend.
I agree. I have no idea why the Beeb think that they can comment anything beyond any old joe public. I guess I just want to hear what politician (do I really??) and industry leaders want to say about topics of the day. I guess it’s for balance. The Beeb are in all sorts of trouble right now. About time they are not governed by Parliament but as a publicly funded institution they have to be accountable to some sort of body. It’s not easy not to pay a licence fee do reform is needed

You can't beet a non biased argument with questions that have not been hand picked and a audience that has not been hand picked. Apart from that it's very accurate and not one sided at all. It's very well scripted.

Every person at that level will have had extensive media coaching, usually by journalists and the same people who advise politicians how to answer the question they SHOULD have been asked.
Don't think Teresa Villiers had any coaching before last weeks programme , she was dire. Minette will come over very well, as she always does. Expect her to have the politicians squirming on future trade deals - this is a subject she knows better than anyone on the panel.

Also HS2 in the news , if this comes up she will give a voice to all those businesses disrupted and still awaiting compensation. Coronavirus - comparison with F and M total standstill has to be right approach.

Will be well worth watching whatever questions come up.
