Took sprayer out for first outing today burst pipe.
Think it had been chafing.

Sprayed 80 acres with it and worked fine!

We get loads of packing crates from new machines and I’ve found that using a crowbar is splitting good wood and slow, so 5 mins in the shed.... may be overbuilt but it works! View attachment 864988

I've some post and rail fencing to pull apart. That's got to be worth a try.

Yes it really worked we have a lot of timber to use now the only degrading thing is the shear number of nails in the wood...... so I’m investing in one of these

No it removes them too I’ve found just bend them straight with the tip and bang they’re out.

Have replaced a few wagtail adjuster rods before

As the plastic bit wears here and then they jump out of place

Fixed it with the good old cable tie bodge & so far seems to be working fine.

Had tried 2 cable ties but that was just being too greedy.…

Problem with tilt ram on sprayer not working because the coil on one side that operates the hydraulics is knackered.
Am told that the coil is no longer available and would need to buy and swap the entire slice.

Solution is to plumb and T in the circuit from another spool in the cab.

Used 1 meter long extension pipes so as to be able to connect the new circuit more easily without having to be a contortionist to plug them into the tractor when the sprayer is fitted.

Apologies to the purists on this thread for using cable ties!

Nigel the scraper tractor sicked out his coolant (h2o) after a rub on a unwelcome protrusion

Hammered a old bit of 8mm tube flat and soldered it over hole, still had water in when I finished scrapping up

You need to put OKE or whatever it is in a wheel barrow. Just the ticket.

Beyond repair I'm afraid as it's starting to tear. Okay, will do. Repaired a different tube. Inflate the wheel, tyre pops off the rim.

The hardest bit was setting the dribble rate out the bowser to match that of the pressure washer

those little power washers need a gruard to stop the hose touching the exhaust, iborrowed a mates and quickly ruined the hose, melted right into it, a simple steel rod would prevent this
