Repair to belt guard on the topped needed after a inconsiderate concrete wall just jumped out the hedge 😬😅

along similar lines, mower designed as a mulcher was never the best cut, particularly in damper /longer grass and quite often needed to over drive or mow it twice ,bit frustrating as otherwise very reliable and easy going machine.
answer to transform it was to cut a hole in the correct place in the deck to convert to side discharge ,worked a treat with lower settings able to be used plus engine runs freer and uses relativly less petrol.
Got 2 for a bit of commercial mowing so will do the other i think, when i get chance .

bit dangerous left open could take someones big toe off lol, so got a disused belt guard from a clayson combine and 2 tech screws & bobs yer bino safe and deflects the grass from going on the War memorial gravel but open enough to not block or restrict flow :geek:

Went to get the mower today but the hydraulic hose to lift it up and down was peeing oil out of it. It was beyond wrapping it with bale tape so thought best take it off and get a new one :cautious:
But that is not the quick fix! Took it off while I still had dirty hands but that left the pipe open and exposed didn't really want to leave it if I could in case it got some dirt or something in there. Looked through the door of the shed where the pet lambs are and saw the perfect solution like it was made for the job.

Watch in case there’s a restrictor in that fitting, looks like there’s something there. If it falls out your mower will then be dropping like a stoneband lifting way to quick and rough
