Plastic bung was missing from headstock of the rake. Made a new one from a pringles can. Plastic lid was a tad too big, but base just right.

Putting thr plastics back on the quad after changing the drive belt and the bolts holding the plastic to the foot pegs were so rotten I couldn't grip them properly with a socket so needed new bolts. Of course I don't have those special ones with the wider bit at the end to stop it wobbling about but I do have an imagination and a box of weird bits and pieces taken from broken furniture or whatever else I've taken apart over the years.
Needed a blot like that on the left. Found that thing next to it thar is hollow and threaded I think it came out of an old cot. Cut bits off and used washers off broken tec screws and old bolts I found in a bucket and made almost perfect replacents for those I took off in about 5 minutes 🤠

Gareth Gill (51) of Abbot’s Walk, Newtownards pleaded guilty to two charges under the Waste and Contaminated Land (Northern Ireland) Order 1997, for which he was fined £150 each and ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy

On June 25, 2018, PSNI officers went to Gill’s yard, where they found a large amount of waste consisting of scrap wood, pallets, carpet and underlay.

Discussion with Northern Ireland Environment Agency (NIEA) officers confirmed the site...
