I've always wanted to do a test. Put a tray of Minced meat and a tray of quorn, in front of a cat.

I'm willing to bet that after eating the meat, it will back up and curl one out in the 'litter'.

Well surely we as food producers can have some input somewhere ,I cannot believe as an industry we are going to let big corporations take our market without a fight .

I take it you haven't been to a supermarket recently ? probably half an aisle of fruit ( mostly foreign ) and veg with similar size chillers with meat. Rest of the food is pre cooked, processed or ready meals in various types and has been for over a decade.

Quorn is made from fungi and Mrs F reacts badly to it so not allowed round here, even though she's 'semi-veggie'.

Have same issue, only time ate quorn was to appease friend who was trying veggie diet, did not ask what it is made of, bad stomach for days as I am allergic to fungus.

Also, his association with Quorn appears to have ended in early 2017, almost 4 years ago. Hardly "last year".

His ugly mug was definitley advertising it on my telly last year. Every time I saw it it made me utter oaths at the tv.
