What on earth is going on here? Was the tractor driver on his phone or something?

Some has said he's on phone, another source says he's tested positive for drugs.

shocking. hope the person/persons in the car are ok. half wonder if he had the hand throttle pushed forward and had a trailer tyre blow out or got sucked in on the verge and tried steering out of it. regardless its not something nice to see

Absolute joke of a justice system. 18/19 year old driver, over the limit for cocaine, completely crushes a car with a tractor and trailer and gets off with a suspended prison sentence and a few hours of community service. No lesson will be learnt from that. If the car hadn‘t been an American import (ie left hand drive) the driver would have been killed.
