Haven’t been out and about yet but thinking it’s going to look like a war zone in amongst the crops with this wind as well as rain

7-8mm since started yesterday morning. The Humber may be helping us for a change! Just watch the radar-splitting the easterly feed . Last year it deflected everything, when just a decent rain that fell to our north or south would have given us a hell of a harvest, maybe this year it will do us a hell of a favour...??

35 mls since it started yesterday and counting, yonder side of hill from you. Looks better end of week onward. Not a blade cut here yet either. Having to feed cows out as no aftermath.(n)

Not looking great is it...? Only saving grace is the ground is so hard so will be able to rock on once it stops, I have seen it getting better for Sunday and that's when I'll be looking to kick off. I have reseeds that were chest height that are now flat on their arse, that's upset me a lot

How much grass didn't you have growing? We needed it, but a week of sun wouldn't go amiss now. ;)
Grass has been slow here , since Feb i have hardly seen the Sun, we had biting East winds for well over a Month and constant rain , hard to find days when we could spray and well behind with field work , have 50 acres left to lime and reseed but no hope atm, it just about got there early last week but way to wet again now, 200 acres of Haylage now ready to cut , we had finnished this time last year

Well, you can be much more than thirty miles from us and we needed the rain desperately, no growth at all for weeks... all change for the last fortnight, as soon as we can do it without ploughing we'll cut.
