Ah yes, a very nice chap, he bought the block up the road last year too didn't he? I understand that he was thinking of moving but decided to stay put and expand a bit. I covet those top fields above me and am sure he knows it... ;) We've got another block on the other side of Carmarthen, we've used DT for that when it's not leased. Prices seem the same over here and there, maybe a wee bit less over there because of scale.

I guess there is going to be random rain for a while, maybe a window from Thursday to Saturday. Come down for a drink and chat the next time your around and can spare half an hour. (y)

Webinar: Expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive offer 2024 -26th Sept

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
