RAM Mounts

Where is the best place to buy?

Not bought one for a couple of years but can't find a good stockist online. Looking for something to mount a Delta 34i onto tractor cab frame (self tap cab frame I think) is all I can do.

If you buy a 2 hole diamond shaped mount they attach straight onto the back of the delta using a couple of m8 bolts, i will try to remember to take a pic of mine tomorrow and post it for you to see.

Ram mounts are sized on their weight carrying capability on a static load. I use them to mount a small hand held tablet to my quad bike for survey work, because it is no longer a static load I needed a d size ran mount when the static load rating would have allowed a ram b. Just something to be wary of

Thank you. The Delta is mounted with the Chafer switch box underneath too, all on a large frame. Will try and get a pic soon. Pity the Case 5150 doesn't have any simple places to mount around the RH cab door without drilling the frame.

Anything on the rear pillar you could mount a bar from then have a pillar down to the floor, bolting to the cab floor? You really shouldn't drill a cab pillar. What about the door frame from the latch?

Depending on the age of your 5150 there might be tapped holes behind the plastic trim on the B pillar, you just have to drill holes in the plastic to get to them. Worth taking the trim off to have a look before drilling anywhere else.

Don't suppose anyone knows a RAM mount base that would fit a KV Focus II box?

There's a plate on the back that is 75mm square, with holes at 60mm centres. Failing that, this base then has a bolt with wingnut attached which could be used to attach a mount.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
