New grazing block to be rotationally grazed with cows and calves. High tensile electric fences around the boundaries with plastic posts and poly wire for dividing paddocks up.

My question is what mains fencer would you recommend? Would be roughly 6km of boundary fencing plus all dividing paddocks. Had a search around on the Internet and keep going round and round in circles deciding what's best!

Also, Best way to earth said fence?

2m earth stakes around a pond....

you wont go too wrong with the biggest gallagher or staffix one you can lay your hands on - also the remote on/off will be very useful.
Motorway barrier or similar into a pond, I’ve seen an old bent buckrake in a pond once 👍🏻

I don't have a pond near me unfortunately!!

Dig a trench and bury a crash barrier?
How deep do you have to go to get water? I’ve seen a test hole dug 12ft deep about 30ft away from a spring fed big pond once and it stayed dry at the bottom for weeks, rain water filled it and not spring nearby so you may have to dig a few holes unless you know where a spring is near your buildings

A premium make like Gallagher or Speedrite from Rappa with the ability to text it to turn it on and off from the field if there is a problem. We have a Rutland mains energiser which has been on everyday for over 10 years and is still going strong, the new ones don’t look as well made though. We bought a Voss one and despite looking really smart and well made it broke within a year.

2m galvanised stake in the bottom of the ditch beside the barn where the unit is installed. Ditch takes the rainwater so is usually wet.
Or a copper earth rod would be as good.
I have the Rutland ESM602. Don't get Rutland outdoor type with the pressure bubble switch on/off. They fail just when the warranty expires and you then have to doctor it.
