I got a rohr from Amazon , didn’t expect much for the money that it was but it’s been excellent and it’s not had an easy time of it . Thinking of buying their inverter mig now as I can’t stick weld to save myself 🤦🏻‍♂️
MIG because it's even easier to attach pigeon shyte to metal than with a stick? 🤣

I've a 180 amp Kempi. Now well over a decade old. Buy a good invertor and it'll be a joy to use. Buy a cheap Chinese thing and you'll hate it for the short time it takes to burn out

Something along them lines 😂 I’ve done quite a lot with a mig . Would rate myself average with a mig but it’s a definite poor with the stick . Will take a look at that though thanks

I've a JASIC that rattles around in the back of my truck............................... I cannot fault it, I've dropped it from a ladder 24ft up & it still works, doesn't pull the Genny down & burns 3.25 rods all day without cutting out & it was less than £150 when I bought it .........................when it sh*ts itself I'll buy another

180 Jasic here, came from welding supplies direct on here. Can't fault it, no bother, runs off the genny fine.

I personally think that the main players are all much of a muchness, stay away from the cheap eBay Chinese shite and any of them will do your job.
Mig is grand indoors but welding a hinge on a stanchion in winter at 750ft up a hill somewhere or similar needs a stick welder!
