Have you been mid-sold a Government?Thought they got in last time.
Different goals. One is tasked with ensuring good practice when applying through cpd, the other in making the legislation surrounding it. I would imagine the register is HSE looking at pesticide use and trying to get a handle on what’s happening ahead of any new legislation coming our way.
Pleased to see they are using the .ods format for spreadsheets, works with Libre Office (free!). I am fed up of Government requiring us to pay Microsoft to be able to fill in their forms.Same here on the Document file. Not very "Open" is it....
If it won't open as a pdf or doc file, WTF do they bother...?
Shades of the early development of the digitisation of Govt claim websites, when the developers seemed to forget that not everyone is accessing the site with a mega fast Office intranet.
I never said it was any good. I was merely pointing out it wasn’t run by RT and was different to what the government appear to want.let’s be clear what NRoSO CPD consists off
basically sending already quantified operators on some child like treasure hunt at cereals etc or paying out yet more cash for them to listen to somebody often less experienced than themselves
or they can of course get some free points reading farmers weekly or TFF
it’s an insult to intelligence frankly …….. yet another way of industry hanger ons extracting cash from farmers bottom line
Hence why most I know don’t go for them, your lucky your in the midlands, imagine if your 7 hours each way from cereals. The last time I went to cereals I got the 2 points on the gate then didn’t bother with the others, subsequently those 2 points never arrived on my NRoSO forms Most I know don’t go to cereals, 1 it’s to far, 2, usually to busy spraying..let’s be clear what NRoSO CPD consists off

I will have a look if it works with Open Office...Pleased to see they are using the .ods format for spreadsheets, works with Libre Office (free!). I am fed up of Government requiring us to pay Microsoft to be able to fill in their forms.
They do offer Excel format as wellI will have a look if it works with Open Office...
But let's be honest, they should be using industry standard for their documents. Chrome (Google) won't open it.
Isn't that the corrupted one? They do offer Excel format as well
Don't be stupid , not when our own Government have actively passed legislation to open the floodgates to food produced to lesser standards than our own domestic produceDo foreign farmers who send products here have to do similar
Not me for starters.....the form looks like a GCSE student created it
If that’s the best Govt can do then we really are in trouble
should have been an online form
Who on Earth downloads an Excel spreadsheet fills it in and emails it back
very last century
None of us should register. Boycott it.Had anyone actually registered?
No one knew about it until this threadNone of us should register. Boycott it.
