As per the title, how much do people reasonably pay for sugar beet land?

been offered £225/ac and keep sfp recently but don’t fancy it due to the potential mess on clay soils.

Take 1 t/ha off the following wheat crop for late sowing plus a subsoiler pass for compaction and do the maths. Have it lifted in February is a muddy mess and it's far more expensive than a small loss making crop of osr, oats or beans.

i know , only when i need too , plenty paying the original value on here. one been a big beet contractor justifying his machines
