So,.not an all out disaster, more of an embarrassment that I would like to put right.
Any tips pushing the top of my little milk tanker back out again. It was sucked in because started pumping out without opening the lid :banghead:

Would be much safer to fill with a fluid (such as water) and a small pump with a gauge as you’d have much more control over the pressure. Probably wouldn’t need that much force to get it to pop out and much less chance of an explosion!
Slightly different but when I use to straighten pushed in/dented motor cross exhaust I’d blank one end then put some pressure in, then heat the pushed on areas with the gas until they start to push back out. Obviously you have a far to bigger area to start heating with a gas axe though.

But doing it on a hot day ( might be waiting a while), in the sun might help.

Can’t see what the rest of the tank is like, but with that shape of the top now, pressurizing the tank might push out another panel, lifting with the chain through the lid or putting a bottle jack inside seem more sensible.
