No... You can buy the cleaning kits... Paper towel underneath as it'll blow the ink out and make a mess.

I just used a syringe some rubbing alcohol and some Silicone vac tube I had here after seeing it on Youtube and looking for model number.

Blow it down the jets... If the Jets are blocked no end of head cleaning will work,.

Replacement printer duly came , despite a bit of snow in the lane . Disconnected and uninstalled the old one and installed the new , bit of a frig with my fingers losing a bit of feeling at the tips on the small control screen . I found a rubber tipped pen-like "podger" (is that the correct technical term ?) which made thing so much easier . All up'n' running now . Only problem I have is that despite uninstalling the old one , with all it's hangers-on bits , my computer still thinks it's still there . It doesn't show in "devices and printers " so I don't know what next . I suppose as long as it doesn't interfere with things I might just leave it . It just bugs me a bit , as would a red light on the dash , having a printer icon with a red cross on it saying "Scan to computer is currently unavailable " Must've left some trace behind . Now that it's unused , I might just try Jeep-Jeeps fix with the blowdown alcohol , I have a bottle of iso-propyl alcohol , so nothing lost if it doesn't work for me , and a bonus for my Gt. grand daughter who's looking for a printer for home schooling work .

No, I haven't got C.C. I used to use it , but it got lost on the way when I changed computers . I think I'll re-install it . The red cross is for "scan to computer is currently unavailable " I just clicked "Exit" and it's gone ! So that's OK then .

It's an HP Office Jet 8015 . It's wireless operating . Just the mains cable to it . It wasn't difficult to set up once I had the stylus, which was more precise in action than my clumsy numb finger tips . It's placed within 1 Metre of my modem just now , and I've given it all the printing/ scanning/ copying tests I can think of , and it performs faultlessly (so far :) ) with the bonus that I can move it about if needed without wiring disturbance . I've generally thought that hard wiring was a better system than wireless , but it all seems OK , so - we live in hope .
