Close call, would have been bad if all night.

Oh right, they all come with just one clamp. Only 2 cow's milk was dumped i think !

why is it not a stainless steel pipe with tri clover couplings like above the fitting?

edit i can see why, its the filter housing so you can undo it to change the filter

Can't think of a connection tank side of the milk pump that isn't solid connection or indeed a flexible pipe that could split tbh.

Original Lely style filter from 25yrs ago. We changed here to a side discharge filter 20yrs ago when we went with all stainless milk line. Flex line got banned by some provincial authorities. Properly installed that filter and hose is not a problem. Never had one come off like that. Had some farms use them for more than 15yrs. Hose lasted that long as well. Double wall braided reinforced silicone.

No alarms for that,so it goes down the drain.

I have only just started,thers for a few little things to sort out.

I did ... and I don’t like those cuts or tiles as they look awfully slippery. Grooves running away from the bot would be better

I did yes,does that not affect cow flow through?

Where ours came out of they had an automatic footpath. But a little way away from robots

Early days for me at the moment. Only part time there. It's only a few afternoons a week.

I have only just got my foot in the door and only part time.

That looks a crap design. Surely the spigot should be longer and have a flange on the end to stop the pipe and clip coming off.

There is two rolled ridges. Installed properly wont come off.

Looks same as on mine, (only 1clip too) at a rough guess, about 7 million ltrs of milk of gone through it (plus thousands of litres of wash water) and it’s not come off, YET

Has anyone put 2 robots in where the entries are in the middle? If so would you be able to tell me how far apart they are? De Laval robot but anyone with an older lely that doesn’t have entry at the end would be similar. Thanks
