Lib dem - no idea who
Green Party - disowned their candidate
Plus the usual Independents and, God Bless him, the Official Monster Raving Loony candidate

Look at Rishi, how he was handed a safe seat and reached the top within years. Do you honestly think he would have been where he is now, without his financial backing?

Doesn't matter who you vote for, they are all just as greedy at the top no difference between Rishi and Starmer. If anything Starmer would be worse he is Blair Mark 2

They still need votes to achieve power and the potential for greater remuneration that goes with it.
To this end they are chasing largely the same group of people around, trying to give them what they want, hence there's not much to choose between them

In fairness, that isn't true; I'm not saying that it doesn't apply to some politicos, maybe even most, but I know / have known a fair number including some at the first level and these are genuinely good, decent, well-meaning and hard-working people - and that refers to people from three parties, so it isn't just me claiming best for the Tories.

That written, I also know of several cases of absolutely disgusting behaviour by then MPs regarding serious misuse (abuse, in my opinion) of their positions in Parliament for financial benefit - and two of these were Conservatives and one Labour.

It would be correct, and probably unarguable, if you were to write it about the 'party machines'.

Galloway attracts a lot of Asian votes with his Gaza rhetoric so I expect the vote will be actually quite interesting seeing as Danczuk was their previous MP and the ex Labour is a well known Asian Councillor

Galloway is a bit of a tired joke, whereas an MP not in Israel's pocket is likely to be popular with a lot of voters in Rochdale.

2021 census … Rochdale was 57.2% white, 34.3% Asian & 38% Christian, 36% Muslim.

Turn out could well decide the outcome
