£2.85 for 4ft and £3 5ft.
I had a long run out today to do 50 4ft for some one and they were more than happy to pay 3 quid a bale.
And there’s twice as much in a 6ft as a 4ftI was led to believe a 5 foot bale hold 33% more grass than a 4 foot , could be wrong info though

That’s why I make 6ft bales of hay and strawYou'll use less net and spend less time tieing/ejecting but the customer is saving a lot of time handling less bales.
I only put 2.5 turns on and never get any problemI'd be putting a fair bit of net on a 6ft bale!
Don't fancy it bursting on me! A lot of weight of material compressed to contain.
not sure about that ,we could sell as many as we could make , its making the blighters without additive thats the difficult bit without settled weather. Today we needed another sunny day but cried off and baled for haylage ,good job too as its raining fairly heavy now£5 here. Cost of baling and wrapping silage minus the cost of the wrap. Not many people want round bales of hay...
