I see that the above planning application has now been approved.
I have only just seen the thread title that was mentioned in the media months ago. For goodness sake what do the general public want, Sandringham Home Farm going organic yet jo public dont want that because of the smell and factory farming !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For goodness sake the cattle are only going to be in the sheds during the winter months.
Oh ignorance is bliss to those that know, no difference, mean while they are a pain in the ass to the agricultural industry.:banghead::banghead::banghead:

Do any of you that live or farm near Sandringham know if the above project is under construction?
Off topic, what are the soil types on the Sandringham in hand estate and tenanted farms.

Had a walk around 2019
all in CSS with large buffer strips and margins.

high ph, soils which brings its own issues with mineral lock up etc.
Prince Charles now runs it so its all organic or in conversion with tenanted land wanted to be taken that way as well.

I was through there the other day,and have not noticed any agricultural construction on their inhand land.what the tenants are doing I have not seen. Lots of sheep within the estates land area on tenants farms mainly

Understand that since the previous long standing farm manager retired, that there have been several management changes in quick succession, with a certain lack of direction evident.
Whether this was in any way related to the passing of Her Maj is not clear.
A lot of change with the extra livestock, less cropping (?) too.
Local gossip anyway.
