There is someone attlebourgh way collect scrap can't think of his name off hand..... (not smith :D)

Always always try to take in. Means I can separate out for best price. Because I'm quite regular there too they seem to look after me ;)

Haggard give Neil a buzz at optima stainless ,kings lynn ,they have a tie up with some one ,and go direct instead of giving it to the stealers like glazewing or bako , optima make around 130,000 tons of scrap from there fab and lazed cutting shops ,they will put skips in and you will get a bit more for it than average scrappy

I was told the other week by a scrappy employee that prices always drop late November and December, because a lot of people scrap metal to fund Xmas party. True? As I have a bit to go

Was told by some blokes from "Ooop North" that the manhole covers tend to disappear from the roads in the run up to Santa's appearance.
I've heard the same rumour but does not seem to be the case for the last few years here: https://www.letsrecycle.com/prices/metals/
There is also the one about the Baltic freezing up but it's probably all just supply and demand.
