Il believe your 13me silage when I see the analysis. You should have the very first TFF Farm Walk , show us what you do there , you seem to prove it works , coming from a farmer some of these on here may start to believe
Personally I would go Red Clover Hybrid Ryegrass ,it seems to compliment Red Clover , grazes better, 3 kg Red 10 RyegrassConsidering red clover in my italian silage mixtures, this ground is not grazed. What seed rate are people using? . I tend to go high with the italian about 17kg/ac

I don't mind chipping in as long asi don't have to cook itI hear @Derrick Hughes will be sponsoring & providing pasties & other light refreshments for everyone…
Would consider Hybrid, no grazing on any of these fields though. Do tend to dry up so max yeild off the first 2 cuts has worked well in the past. Subsequent cuts feed young stock so there is a little more flexibility. Recent weather conditions may favour the hybrid.Personally I would go Red Clover Hybrid Ryegrass ,it seems to compliment Red Clover , grazes better, 3 kg Red 10 Ryegrass

If you want max yield early on then job to beat Italian and agree with the higher seed rate especially if its a TetraploidWould consider Hybrid, no grazing on any of these fields though. Hybrid work very well BUT remember they can be short lived especially under intense cutting regimes.Would consider Hybrid, no grazing on any of these fields though. What seed mix are you going to use and are you going to just over seed this into your existing leysPut every grass acre here into sam3.
Will do our best to make it work.
Sfi is better than sfp ever was for us. Add some mid tier in too.
I've a friend who sells seed, so will sit down and sink a few beers and make a mix. But plantain from experience is what suits us and this farm, so will be heavily centred around that. What seed mix are you going to use and are you going to just over seed this into your existing leys
