Have I missed something? First payment came in early November, I thought it was quarterly from then but no confirmation letter or payment has been seen. Are we now in line for another 3-4 month wait as the first payment came pretty soon after signing although now the SFI says 1st payment after acceptance at 4 months I believe. I can't find anything on RPA to back this up.

First payment was advanced as incentive to sign up in 2023.
Assuming first Nov start date?
2nd payment early May.
3rd will be August.
I've got a horrible feeling that @Greedy is right. There was I thinking the second payment would be in February & managed my cashflow under the impression it would be

Sorry. Don’t shoot the messenger! :(
It was lost in all the fine print and fanfare as Therese Coffey just wanted to get some money out the door. After being in charge of a reputed £250million underspend of agricultural funds. Mainly from reduced BPS funding and not getting ELMS going.

My agreement went live on 1/1/24, when do you think my first payment will arrive? thanks
4 months from start date. Then 3 monthly after that. Mine went live dec. Got the advanced payment in december. I think my next payment will be june, not exactly clear. I assumed seemingly wrongly when i got the first paymement in dec it would be dec, mar etc.

Payments are currently manual because the IT system is not finished yet for SFI/CS... Humans at the RPA therefore dont work to 90 day computer algorithms and the 11,000 applicants are being dealt with randomly... In summer 2024 the system will work perfectly as the IT project has swallowed 50% of BPS..

i thought you not touching the scheme with a barge pole
Wasnt at first. Sfi 23 seemed better, hold my hands up shite weather and complete loss of osr and sh!t winter crops/crap prices tipped the balance. Iv done the bare minimum
i dont think its much cop really but its not my problem to produce food as much as it pains me to say it.
Sitting watching crops drown has focused the mind to make up some income from somewhere. Im currently driving a digger too.
