Will the hundreds of New Zealand shearers be allowed to come over?
Seeing as I'm not as quick as I used to be, I made a start last week...

...........only joking.......shearlings for the summer sales are always clipped in early March. In light of recent developments it looks like it might have been a waste of time this year

Never knew you were so dependant on kiwis and aussies. Few come here but damn all really. Gonna be a hell of a long one or there is gonna have to be a lot of lads come out of retirement. We're a few years trying to get a young lad to take up a slot on our trailer to let my brother off to hoof trim cows( his day job) but can't get anyone to stick at it. I love the job and just can't understand why lads wouldn't take it up. Nice few quid to be made for relatively small investment.
