Would need checking out as at a farm sale don't think your guaranteed payment if auctioneers don't get paid in market rules different but not sure on hat and straw
it would be very difficult for an auctioneer to not pay the seller if the buyers bid was accepted, there is still just a few of us left who trade on the basis that my word is my bond and in this new world of internet false news and media

Agree with you but sure that outside sales away from market are not subject to payment untill funds are recovered in full read their terms and conditions

I can remember when all that hay went to Ireland 5 odd years ago price of hay shot up £50 ton in 3 weeks due to massive demand .that's how it goes sometimes . will be interesting to see how things look in the spring . how it pans out

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
