Do you travel the area every day, as you always seem to know exactly what's going on, from who has turned cattle out, to how many loads of straw are traveling in and out.
Do you farm, or does your job take you all over?

Some one said he lets most of the farm out to a dairy farmer for maize.........?

Winter Wheat looks very good around Devon/Somerset.

Crops have really shot upwards in the last 10 days, WW straw yields will be very good for the vast majority of crops, I have seen a lot worse/ thinner/ shorter wheat crops in the middle of May than they are now already and even in those years the crops still yielded well.

Of course the organic WW crops aren't looking so well:rolleyes::rolleyes:
