When you work out sheep per acre I don't think it sounds any better ffs. It's only 25 weeks!

Good cropping fields with 100kg of fert on it made £180 - £200 an acre for 6 months rent. Near hungry dairy farms near Carmarthen.

Poor hill ground mowable getting on for £100/acre around here. Alot of good lowland ground £200 plus.

depends on the type of grass,anyone know what the AD plants are paying for grass on a £/ton fresh depending on wilt that would give you an idea

No supplies left round our way, prices through the roof before that and this year's grass in dire need of more rain if we're going to get usual yields.

Its nearly June..lots of the growing season already gone..hay crops around me are looking poor unless you have put loads of Fert on...but of course with hay we never do that,i have some fert that ist even washed in yet

Rain desperately needed....lots of it to put growing season right but it needs to be steady rain. Won't be much nice June hay around in any quantities.
