You will of course still need to meet the farm assurance requirements of your customer/milk buyer/etc.

How does it work , I take it grass farms are exempt, what if you have grass and one crop .a field of spuds ?

There is an exemption for all grass farms, and those growing unde a certain %age of cropping iirc. ‘Temporary grass’ (reseeded via a brassica or break crop) is seen as an arable crop, whereas a direct grass to grass reseed is not, it just stays as pp.

If it’s not bothered you enough to look into it yet I wouldn’t worry about it now. We have thrown off the tyrannical shackles of the EU now, so will be a free for all next year. Yeah, right....

I don't think they are. I'm going from memory here but these spraying regulations are only guidelines. If you follow them and your chem store burns down and pollutes the local river, you have done all you could in theory so the courts look more favourably on you.

If you had none of the stuff in place and the same result happened then they will throw the book at you.

If anyone thinks for one minute that rules will become easier or non existent you will be sadly mistaken. We have a thing called law, this can very easily dictate when and who cuts a hedge or apply a ppp.
