Hmmm, encountered this heading to Newcastle Emlyn this morning, when you know the road it’s a bit disconcerting to come around a corner and meet this when your 16 foot high, you hope they have a tape.

With that we can cross major A roads , with no problems at all to wagons can pass under it at the same time, some people have under road crossingsThat's flash that is
Beats mauling your nuts off with ramps.
Does need the loader though I guess.
Do you get many customers with a pipe under the road?
Suspect if one was hit, there would be a literal and a legal sh!t shower. As someone who drives a wagon I’m surprised you aren’t obliged to display a height on the gantry or put signs up. Maybe you are, anyone looked into it?
I just wonder what the fallout would be legally and insurance wise if it was hit.

Regardless of legality though I do think they are great improvement to road safety keeping lots of mud, tankers, and tractors off the road
We have height sign on ours .As someone who drives a wagon I’m surprised you aren’t obliged to display a height on the gantry or put signs up. Maybe you are, anyone looked into it?

Anything lower than 16ft 6 needs a height displayedAs someone who drives a wagon I’m surprised you aren’t obliged to display a height on the gantry or put signs up. Maybe you are, anyone looked into it?

Does that really change the flow rate? I was thinking maybe the extra pressure required to push it over the gantry it would gain on the flow back to the ground again. I've come to the conclusion that it's only the start point and finish point that matters to flowrate. I've seen jobs where you pump up over a hill and back down the other side again and also jobs where you pump down a valley and up the other side. I can see there will be more pressure in the pipe at the lowest point. I'm no expert and I can't really get my head round it! Some nice gantrys in the photosWhat puts me off them is you’ve got to lift the slurry another 18ft in the air to clear a road that’s got to have an effect on flow especially when your pumping up hills like we do around hear
In 6" pipe work it makes to difference at allWhat puts me off them is you’ve got to lift the slurry another 18ft in the air to clear a road that’s got to have an effect on flow especially when your pumping up hills like we do around hear
