Would you trust that valve on a 800’000k slurry towerLooks like it's got a remote control and battery pack for opening valve, most likely to connect directly to a above ground slurry store
It’s not made by cowboys so why not? It will have built in failsafes so presumably safer than a manual valve.Would you trust that valve on a 800’000k slurry tower

Can imagine it could get messy if a hoof block or the likes passed just as it closing!Would you trust that valve on a 800’000k slurry tower
Each to there own,but no way would I trust a single gate valve with that pressure and weight behind it.It’s not made by cowboys so why not? It will have built in failsafes so presumably safer than a manual valve.
We only close both valves at the end of the day, lots of time and arm ache any other way? I'm a newcomer to above ground stores so eager to learn. Each to there own,but no way would I trust a single gate valve with that pressure and weight behind it.
Not quite up there with not fixing a pto guard but why?The only above ground store I take slurry from has 2 valves that when it's a quarter full or more needs both shut every time or it leaks into the reception pit.
If you had a slight bit of fibre jam in the valve it would never stop flowing. We only close both valves at the end of the day, lots of time and arm ache any other way? I'm a newcomer to above ground stores so eager to learn.

Pressure is a function of the height not the volume of slurry.
