We are planning to switch from loose housing / FYM to cubicles & slurry.

Slurry will be separated and the store will be covered, Rainwater in the store will be minimal. Milk yield is 9000-1000 l/cow

What is a likely analysis of the slurry and what would be a typical application rate to be within NVZ rules.

Thanks in advance

Slurry sample attached.
Have sampled occasionally but bearing in mind it`s not an exact science, sampling & spreading slurry, I think the numbers in RB209 are near enough to work on

RB 209 is definitely the best place to start. The standard figures are what everyone you need to talk to will use. They don’t include any wash water. I work on about a 30% reduction with the separator although it varies through the year.
