My brother used to do it on the silage pit face but it wasn't mixed properly.

Shed builder I know was mixing concrete on a farm with one and a polish farm worker couldn't believe what they were doing as back "home" they were used for mixing feed and he'd never seen concrete in one,

same as any mixer but they have to be cleaned anyway no good workman leaves a mixer dirty after mixing concrete.

A normal mixer is easy to aim a hosepipe at all parts that need cleaning without needing to remove a cover etc.
