So why are so many vaccinated people getting Covid?

TBH that the same as me, I'm 99% sure I had covid march 2020 (bloody Cheltenham festival) and was quite ill for a couple of days, but no where as bad as having the jab, I was really ill 24 hours later while shearing and had to pack up and go home (first time in my life) and for 5 days (for both the first and second) and could barely get to work with bad migraines and flacked out, I'm seriously considering not having the booster when I'm told to.
We both had it right at the very start back in 2019. Was just a bad dose of cold. Took a while too clear up but wasn’t that bad

So I have a 13 and 14 year old which we have booked in to have there 1 st vaccine jab on Wednesday, I did not even question it until looking at what is says in the report. Now I am really not sure, fine making decision for myself, for them not so easy. Any thoughts?
I wouldn't encourage it at all. There's still too much panic and persuasion going on regarding vaccination and I don't think anyone has sat down to work out the true safety and efficacy yet.

Do you trust your vet? If he daid get the vaccine
I trust him with animals...... not so much human treatment. We are very often at odds when subjects such as badgers/tb and the possibility of COVID escaping from a lab etc. He does agree with me about vaccinating kids.

To the poster on this thread who says children don’t suffer from covid , today the government announced the deaths of another two children with covid , one in the 0 to 4 age group and one 15 to 19 . No children should be dying from covid as it was entirely preventable using masks and hepa filters and ventilation in schools . 88 children in total now and many suffering long covid .
Children dont get Covid???Not sure where you read this from???? As for children dying how do you know the facts on this for one the older child may of been at end of life and hospitalised that child may be so susceptible to any infection or respiratory illness even the common cold. These arent healthy children this is the problem if these 2 poor children had died of seasonal flu a few years ago would anyone bothered to even bring it up - Which annoys the hell out of me 3 years ago deaths of the elderly no one even cared. So that is not preventable trouble with drip feeding of little news.

The NHS is in emergency mode every winter. So in any other sector they would be told to put your house in order. Ive visited A&E a few times with the children and the beds are absolutely rammed with the elderly. The bed blocking of the elderly is a complete travesty that no homes can take them. There is nowhere for many of the elderly to go. Not seen any building of carehomes but the government is obsessed with house building. About time we started building care homes and hospices to help elevate this issue has no one concluded this? Obv the other issue is the lack of staff. Until we solve the issue of the growing elderly the NHS is going to be under immense stress for every winter.

Thats not what the families of the other 130,000 think...
What’s that got too do with how we reacted too the vaccine vs the actual virus? I’m not saying it isn’t terrible losing loved ones. Although the family members we have lost during the epidemic although it says “Covid related illness” as cause of death none of the 3 family members actually died of Covid!!
