Solar export rate

Hi RJ,

Whilst the market has dropped considerably over the last 12-months, there will still be deals available above 5.5p. Most of our customers are tending to achieve around 2p to 3p above that.

If you'd like me to run a tender on your behalf within our 20+ supplier network I'd be happy to.

Feel free to either email me on [email protected], or PM me on here, and I'll send you the basic information I need to get the ball rolling.

Hi all ,
Any up to date export rates ,
Good energy offered renewal at 5.5p kwh.
Is this where the market is at the moment ?
Thanks

can you still get that rate on a new contract?
I export so little on my domestic, it is still probably best taking the presumed 50% but my FIT supplier has now sold out to my supplier, Octopus, and I expect I will soon be paid on actual Export. Won't lose any sleep though:)

think 15p outgoing is still available yes

will be interesting to see what flux offers this summer when i switch over in april but i doubt it will be as generous as last year

i’ve found a great trick / hack on saving sessions is to dump batteries back to grid - the points exchange rate works out at circa 75p /kwh

Apparently there is something for systems installed post FIT called the "Smart Export Guarantee".

Seems to be anything but "Smart" or "Guaranteed" 'cos every company involved interprets it differently - Unless I have understood it wrong?

Maybe someone could enlighten me / us ?

Really designed for domestic producers who have a smart meter, but it can be used for larger. Octopus Intelligent Go is technically a SEG

1 company willing to change from ppa to smart export guarantee but want to apply for new mpan at same meter point, could you loose ofgem fit generation payments if different mpan is used for the system

Just be aware your new export Mpan will cost £350-400 a year.
this is quite regular and does not effect the FITs which remain attached to your old import Mpan
