Space heater

I have a very large master space heater its great but inconvenient kero , gas oil would suit me better it will run on gas oil all day but wont light on it , can i convert it to has oil ? Just a matter of changing nozel ? Anyone know ?

Why not just keep it in kero ? cheaper, cleaner burn and will save a lot of aggravation setting it up for cherry, especially if it’s a Thermobile

ive got one that runs on both im lazy so put ion derv, would it be better on kero?

Mine I just had to wind a screw in to up the pressure of the air sucking the fuel. Might not be the same. Check the pipes to see if the are tight. Mine had perished over time and was poor to start from low pressure

Just a faf getting kero out tank …. Be easier for me on gas oil , not the end of the world tho

Worst thing we done was put red diesel in our heaters. They all ended up going away to be fixed. Repair man told us to stay the hell away from red diesel. Kero is for heating, it’s cheaper and cleaner and that’s all we use now in our heaters and hot power washers and no problems.

Mine is supposed to be kero but alway ran it in red diesel. Been 15 years from new and the motor gave out this year and it’s been used a lot in some very cold conditions some times I’ve had to put an electric fan heater infront of it to warm the motor so the bearings would release to get it running

gas oil may be more convenient but the diesel bug is an issue as the fuel tank doesn’t get emptied. Keep is much betterfor keeping the filter clean.
