Sprayer with foldable boom

Hi all,

I'm after a sprayer and noticed that most sprayers have foldable booms. However, some appear to fold up at a 45 degree angle, as below:

whilst some fold inward:

Does anyone know which style is better, and why?

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks

For anyone who has used a Jarmet sprayer on slopes, then one would most definitely go for a sprayer with upwards folding booms. But if you happened to clip, a hedge, fence eletric post etc. The horizontal folding would be a god send

2x (small) problems with my 45%type booms. As you push the boom upwards into fold position, more chance of getting the odd drop of chem drip out and fall on to you. Our 15m can click the odd low tree branch when folded up. Depends how big a machine your looking for.

Depends if nozzles drip in vertical on you as opposed to horizontally away from you possibly.
But if all new and test certification it won't be an issue.
