Sprinter 4 rear packer conversion

Has anyone replaced the rear tyre packer on a sprinter 4 with 2/4 large tyres to attempt to prevent sledging in wet conditions. Main problem last autumn and looking for a solution. Some pictures or details would be great. I can see some issues with overall tyre diameter maybe and the fact that if it sledges should we be drilling anyway! Front tyre packer runs clean as on unmoved ground so not a problem so Clive's latest mod not needed.
I apologise if this has been raised before, but I've looked and can't find anything.

I was thinking more of replacing pairs of wheels with a single larger tyre. I haven't looked into axles ,tyres or loadings, just asking general q's at this stage.

Surely removing half the rear tyres would increase compression on the remaining seed rows. Half the rows would therefore be compacted compared to half in loose soil. Would slugs become more of an issue in moist loose soil?

Looking at ajd's pic, that is more along the lines I was thinking. Appreciate the slug issues etc but where we did drill before sledging then crop came well, and no osr in rotation will improve things even more(?)

Extending depth control further back from the seed coulters would further exacerbate seed depth control, in less than perfect conditions would be my concern. Headland compaction would be more concentrated. Surely removing the hopper from the drill would alleviate the tyre packer issue. Mounting the seed hopper on the front linkage could be one option, but a platform like the old fendt tool carrier would give better balance with weight transfer in the right place.

on a co removing all but the outer pair and 2 pairs in the center section would give similar layout surely ?
