Why don't you buy some SAME rowcrop wheels off me. :)
to narrow for stability ?
got these 13.6 x 38 wheels lying around doing nothing but rust and as long as i don't use 4wd should be ideal, lane is so narrow same caper very year and i have been known to trim the bottom cut by hand :cautious:

I got some of these last year to fit lorry wheels on an ag trailer:

I bought these (twice as many for twice the money) for exactly the same job a few years ago.

Fordson major rear wheel nuts have separate washers, so you could rob them.
I didn't realise until after I had spent £8. I didn't sleep for a week. :X3:

So have I, on SAME rims.
About time I sorted them and got rid, the tyres are worth a few quid.

is the rim itself 12 inch ?
thats what
the Ford ones in question are and will allow the head of the trimmer to work beside the wheel without rubbing the paint off or hitting the bank and rotavating the soil out pullng it in around the flails  but they fit perfect with washers.

but i wouldnt mind a bit wider set like 16,9 x 38 for ploughing as the 520's on the tractor are a tad too wide to be perfect for that job....
