Spurious vs genuine discs for Amazone drill

I am about to put new discs on our Amazone ad-p special the genuine discs have lasted 2500 acres, I can get spurious discs from Spaldings at £11 or genuine at £24. Has anyone tried these discs from Spaldings and how did they last? Or would I be better sticking with genuine? Tempted by the Spaldings discs at less than half the price of genuine.

Yes I’ve got a price from him thanks £6 cheaper than any others I’ve tried.

are you on abrasive soils ? we got 4000 acres out of ours

Not especially no, heavy clay well worked in front of he drill, metal usually lasts pretty well here. Do you know how much had worn off your discs when you changed them? These are down to 29.5cm but we’re worn past the depth limiters he can thinking we should change them? The depth limiters are about 22cm.

not sure what they went down to but started blocking up the seed pipes in sticky condtions so they were quite worn
